7/9/2023 0 Comments Okami ps2 paint button![]() I tried changing it to 'invert X and Y axes', confirmed the change properly and resumed my game, but the camera behaved in exactly the same way, and going back into the camera settings I discovered they had reset to default.Īny ideas? It occurred to me that changed settings might be applied only to new save files, but that'd be kind of bizarre and would take another almost 20 minute intro to confirm. I went into the camera settings (which involved a hard shutdown of the game in the main Switch menu because there doesn't seem to be a quit option within the game and the camera options aren't accessible mid-game - but that's by the by) and the camera is already set to normal. Is anyone else having issues with the camera controls with this on Switch? After the 18 minute long intro I finally got control of the camera and realised it's all inverted - pushing the camera stick to the right makes the camera move to the left and vice versa, pushing the stick up makes the camera swing down and so on. Use square to draw a normal line and triangle to draw a thick line. actions mapped to buttons, and the camera was rarely an issue, if at all. Hold L2 to view a map of your current area. My experience with the PS2 version of Okami wasnt a positive one, but the Zelda influence was obvious. Reminds me I've not touched the PS3 version I bought 5 years agoĮdit: Looks like it was OK in the Wii version as well (after the intro, anyway). As you use paint or thinner consistently, a bar fills up below your health. Im all for a fresh coat of paint on these. Anyway, if it's largely solved since the Wii version then great. It just means you're not sitting there frustratedly waiting for the next word in the sentence to reveal itself letter by letter just because you read faster than a small child. It's not about not liking the text or the talking heads in sense of wanting to avoid it entirely it's that people like to read things at a pace greater than its presented, and that in itself does nothing to alter the flow of the narrative overall really. ![]() I'd recommend people just went with the flow of it and try to enjoy it for what it is, rather than mashing a bu tton and screaming at the screen because you don't like the text and talking heads. The hypnotic glow of the blue lights from the bottom of the console compliments the blue and white streaks of lightning extending across the top of this PS2. Also - like a lot of Japanese games - there's a visual novel / Manga element to it, so it's sometimes meant to be slower paced and narrative based.
